Candidate must ensure all of the following are met before accessing the exam links

• A personal computer, PC (Desktop/Laptop), Windows (Windows 7 or higher) or Mac (macOS 10.13 or higher)
• Admin rights of the PC, or have access to the person who has admin rights in order to install/uninstall programs
• The PC is connected to internet and connected to a power source
• A Smartphone, apple or android, connected to internet and connected to a power source
• Chrome Browser is installed on the PC
• A photo ID (Passport/Driving license/State ID)
• A second surface, desk/table to position the smartphone behind you, which will be used to monitor the candidate and desk area during the exam
• Desk area where the candidate is taking exam is clear of books, electronics, notes etc.
• Quiet room free from disturbances

STEP 1

Candidates will receive an email to undergo a pre-exam check. The email will include:

• Link to the test proctor message chat

STEP 2

Access the link

Choose ‘Select your school/organization’

Select your school/organization from the list

Once your appropriate school/organization is selected, you will be directed to a chat window

Step 3

Your proctor will begin the chat session.

After confirming you are ready to begin via the chat window, follow your proctor’s instructions in the chat window.

Step 4

Please begin communicating with your proctor in the chat window. You will be asked to agree to the terms by clicking the button ‘I agree, your name’ in the chat window

Step 5

A text message will be sent to your mobile device

Access the text message via your mobile device to continue the pre-exam verification process.

• Select the link in the text message to open the video chat window
• Select ‘Start video chat’. Allow the website to access your camera and microphone.
• Ensure the volume on your mobile device is turned up
• Have your photo ID ready

Step 6

Your proctor will perform the following using your mobile device:

• Verification of ID
• Room scan (360 degree)
• Phone placement

Your phone will be positioned behind you to record the exam session.

The phone will remain behind you for the duration of the exam.

Once your ID and test environment has been verified your proctor will proceed in providing access to the exam.

Step 7

Using the chat window on your computer, your proctor will now provide the link and the access code to begin your exam.

• Follow the link to open the exam window
• Copy the access code provided by your proctor in the chat window
• Paste the access code into the required field to access your exam

Step 8

• If you have not already installed the WebLock application, please follow the link on screen in ‘Step 1’ to install the application
• If you have completed the WebLock installation, please select the area on screen in ‘Step 2’ to launch the WebLock application

Step 9

• Once the WebLock is enabled and all other applications have been closed, you may begin your exam
• Select ‘Click here to begin your test’ to begin

Interface

• There are two navigation bars, one at the top of your screen and another at the bottom of your screen. You are allowed to move forward and backward through exam questions.
• The top navigation bar provides a numbered boxe for each exam question. You are able to navigate between questions by selecting the appropriate box for each question number.
• The bottom navigation bar allows you to proceed through questions by selecting ‘Next’, and ‘Back’.
• The bottom navigation also provides a ‘Review’ option. ‘Review’ allows you to highlight a question that you would like to revisit. Once a question is selected for ‘review’ the question number will become yellow in the top navigation bar.
• The bottom navigation bar allows you to proceed through questions by selecting ‘Next’, and ‘Back’.
• The bottom navigation also provides a ‘Review’ option. ‘Review’ allows you to highlight a question that you would like to revisit. Once a question is selected for ‘review’ the question number will become yellow in the top navigation bar.
• To select your response to a question, directly select the response option.
• The response bubble will become green.
• In the top navigation bar, the answered question number will also become crossed out.
• Please use the navigation bars to proceed through the questions of the exam.

Reference Booklet

• If applicable any exam resources such as a reference booklet will be accessible using the link located about the top navigation bar.
• The resource will open in a sub-window for your review.

Reaching the end Notification 

• When you have proceeded through to the final exam question, you will receive a pop-up window message: “You have reached the end of the test.” Select ‘OK’.

Click I am done

• Once you have reviewed your responses and are ready to submit your exam, select the ‘I’M DONE’ option located at the bottom left of your screen to submit

Confirm

• You will be asked ‘Are you sure?’ before ending the exam.
  Select YES; to continue in submitting the exam or NO if you would like to return to the exam.

Test completed

• Once ‘YES’ is selected, the exam will be submitted and the window will state “The test has been completed”.
