Job Analysis

A job analysis is the foundation of any employment selection test. During a job analysis, psychometricians will do the following:

  • Gather information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs),
  • Organize that information to survey SMEs, and
  • Analyze the survey results to develop Task, KSAO, and other related lists.

The results of this process will ensure that your next hire will have the best chance of success in your organization.

Test & Assessment Development

We support the development process by creating customized test/assessment content. This content can be audio (sounds), written, and/or visual. Questions can be created in several different formats; to include, Multiple Choice (MC), Essay, Matching, Short Answer, Numerical, Description, True/False and otherwise.

Item Banking

Leverage Assessments partners with an assessment platform which offers over 50+ question types to deliver a powerful and secured item authoring and item banking solution. 

Our platform facilitates the creation of traditional multiple-choice questions, as well as immersive and engaging items for effective simulation of the job tasks. These include multimedia questions using high-resolution images, videos, audio and spreadsheets, alongside image labelling questions, drag & drop, highlight, written, spoken items, text/essay, multiple response, choice matrix items and interactive canvas questions.

Item Analysis

Our item analysis process investigates candidate responses to individual test items or questions to identify items that are not functioning optimally. An item analysis can reveal an item’s difficulty, ambiguity, identify whether the item differentiates between top performing and underperforming candidates, is accurately keyed or scored and the clarity of the instructions that supplement items. Leverage Assessments follows best practices in statistical methods to determine items that should be retained, eliminated, edited, or rekeyed. By improving the quality of each item, the reliability and validity of the overall test is enhanced.

Test Scoring & Reports

Leverage Assessments produces score reports that are useful, understandable, and accessible. We follow best practices to convey reliable scores, relevant criteria, appropriately communicate statistical results, and present a user friendly design of report content to ensure valid score interpretations of candidate performance. Test Validation is the process of evaluating the accuracy (validity) of the test, process, content, and items to ensure that they measure the intended constructs. Standard-Setting & Cut Score Analysis

Our standard setting procedure aims to increase objective estimations of performance while integrating multiple perspectives; from the pilot candidates, subject matter experts, to the psychometric review. We rely on numerous lines of evidence and follow established guidelines to ensure the validity and reliability of the exam to formally establish a passing score that reflects a fair and defensible level of exam performance. 

The standard setting procedure is designed to transform subjective data into fair and standard scores which can be used to objectively delineate between candidates who are qualified and those who are not.

We can test candidates at our home base, or at any test ready computer lab accessible to the candidates.

Remote Test Proctoring

Our proctoring solution allows candidates to be monitored while taking the assessment at home.  Our secure solution is customizable for the needs of your tests

 

Leverage Assessments partners with a totally integrated assessment and remote proctoring cloud-based solution.

Test proctors or supervisors are trained in using the platform and understand the system to remotely proctor exams via the web. The proctor is connected to the candidate by video, audio, remote screen-share and instant messaging to ensure effective communication and security. Everything is recorded and can be reviewed at a later time by the examining body. Several steps are involved in the proctoring of exams; pre-checks, candidate authentication, securing the environment, candidate supervision and session reporting.
